We’re processing a couple of turkeys today for our own Thanksgiving table. While it’s never easy saying good-bye, we know that these turkeys were raised with love and that they were able to bask in the sunshine, eat bugs, and roam the pastures every day of their lives. It’s a privilege to be able to raise your own food, and we make sure their passing is just as humane as their life was. Just before we say good-bye, we offer a blessing and thank-you to them for their lives.
